  1. LED Lighting Most Efficient Lighting Technology in Today’s World Nakashi General Trading LLC Location Unit 2214, The Burlington tower, Al Abraj street, Business Bay, Dubai, UAE.

  2. A Brief Introduction on LED Lights The LED lighting boom started after Shuji Nakamura invented the first practical form of LED light in 1995. Since then, LEDs have proven to be the best, most effective lighting technologies in today’s world. Basically, an LED light fixture can use up to 80% less energy; which can result in an 80% reduction in lighting costs.

  3. Why LED Light Industry Growing Rapidly? • Below are the reasons why LED industry growing day by day: • It last longer. Some can last up to 100,000 hours. • Highly energy and cost saving. It can reduce electricity consumption by 80%. • Highly convenient because of dimming capabilities, changing light color, no heating, and equal light distribution. • A lot of countries have banned incandescent light bulbs. • Best for environment and greener than other light technologies.

  4. Life Span Of Various Lights • The approximate life span of various lighting systems is as follows • LEDs: 60000 hours • Incandescent lightings: 800 to 1500 hours • Halogen lamps: 2000 hours • Fluorescent lightings: 10000 hours • Sodium vapor lamps: 18000 hours • Mercury vapor lamps: 24000 hours • Metal halide lamps: 35000 hours

  5. Advantages and Disadvantages of LED Light • Advantages: • Very energy-efficient and bright. • Can last up to 60000 hours. • Most are fully protected against corrosion, water, and dust damage • LEDs don’t heat up • Easy to install and maintain • Have dimming capabilities • Disadvantages: • High initial cost compared to other lighting technologies. • Some LED lights cause blue light pollution.
