  4. Human & Physical Features Cuba has some interesting human and physical features . First of all,the literacy rate of Cuba is 100%. Meanwhile,the literacy rate of the United States is 86%. In addition,Cuba has 591 Doctors per every 100,000 population. The amount of cars they have for every 1000 people is 1 car.The United States is 789 cars every 1000 people. There is a big difference between the passenger cars in Cuba and United States.Also,the population of Cuba is estimated at 11,260,00 people,and the United States is estimated 299,846,000 people. In conclusion Cuba has ok human physical features.

  5. Flag Cuba’s flag has an amazing history. First of all,the blue stripes refer to the three old divisionsof the island. The red triangle symbolizes equality. The white stripes represent strength. The white star symbolizes the absolute freedom among the Cuban people. In addition,the Cuban flag was adopted on May 20,1902. Also,a Venezuelan general designed “La Estrella Solitaria” (the lone star banner)the Cuban flag. The flag was still used after Fidel Castro seized the country. That is how Cuba’s flag had animportant history.

Government • Cuba’s Constitution was made on February 15,1976 and effective on February 24,1976. • Cuba is a communist government. • Cuba gained independence on May 20, 1902. • To Vote in Cuba you must be 16 years old. • A president and vice president are chosen for a 5 year term. • Current president of cuba is Raul Castro

  7. Religion According to my research Christianityis the main religion in Cuba. 85% of Cuba is Christian,while the other 15% is Jehovah’s Witness and Judaism. First of all,the types of Christian religions are Roman, Protestant, and Catholic. Also they practice praying withthe Rosary, Bible study, and Church on Sundays. The text is the Holy Bible, New,and Old Testament. When someone dies they go to Heaven or Hell,depending on theiractions and behavior on Earth. People do sacraments when separated from God to be with him .

  9. Animals, Plants, & Natural Resources Cuba has some interesting resources and animals. First of all,Cuba is said to have the smallest bird in the world, the Bee hummingbird. The Bee hummingbird can grow upto 2 inches and weigh less than a dime. Then there is the Caribbean reef shark. These reef sharks are common to Cuba, Florida, and Brazil. The Caribbean reef shark can grow up to 9 feet in length. In addition,awater predators include the Cuban crocodile. Itcan grow up to 13 feet long and live to be 75 years old in zoos. They live in freshwater swamplands.One of Cuba's major exports is oil. Cuba is estimated to have 4.6 billion barrels of undiscovered oil. In 2013,Cuba produced 124 million barrels of oil. In conclusion Cuba has some important resources and interesting animals.
