  • To introduce the environmental strategies used in National parks, AONB’s, Country Parks, Long distance footpaths and Heritage coasts

  • By the end of today I would we need to have grasped and understanding of National Parks, AONB’s, Country Parks, Footpaths and Heritage Coasts

    “Designated area of high landscape value in which developments are controlled”

  • AONB’s:

    “Literally Areas of outstanding natural beauty, placed under conservation acts for protection”

  • Long distance footpaths

    “Literally long distance paths, usually of historical significance”
