11. Platform life stories Lara had trouble making ends meat she lived at her dad’s house with her 5 years old son Bilal, her husband is one of the many Lebanese expats in KSA. After a while money became a problem since Lara’s husband was not sending any, and Lara’s stepmother (her dad’s wife) became mean. Lara joined the Platform program and has rediscovered her talents of beautician and is developing, from formulas passed to her from her grand dad, few face treatment creams and hair treatment from fruits. 12. Platform life stories Hanaa, a 35-year old who’s working at CFE (Cleaning Services & Maintenance). She is attending the Computer, English and Platform classes during her available hours. Hanaa is working hard to learn, and practice whenever she can. She is enthusiastic about acquiring skills and making good use of her time as she is not married and has time to spare. Hanaa is now organizing a water distribution service in Burj El Barajneh with skills acquired at the platform she is completing her feasibility and marketing plan and has gathered 150 potential customers so far. 13. Platform life stories Hajja Salwa Jalloul is a 64 year old widow who is attending the platform training program. She is planning with her two daughters who are qualified childcare specialist and nurse to establish a daycare center in Burj El Barajneh She plans to do it in an apartment she inherited from her late husband and is gathering her family again around a project where all will work in their own specialization.
