POLICY STATEMENT “Each member of SEND must view security as an individual responsibility, avoiding complete dependence on the SEND security program or a disregard for potential risks.” We must always remember, “the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.” Luke 16:8 (b)

  11. ESSENTIALS • Inform your team/ministry leader & the IO • Provide a means of communication • Check websites: • WHO (http://www.who.int) • CDC (http://www.cdc.gov) • US State Department (http://www.state.gov)

  12. Practice good communications security • Don’t name the city you will be working in; • Don’t name missionaries you will be working with; • Don’t name the province you will be working in; and • Don’t use pictures from a team location without checking the background for signs that might identify your location.
