  2. Career Research • For the TWO or THREE careers, you must take around one page of notes for each career you are interested in. Remember, even if you know what you want to be, it is good to use today as an exploration day to look into other possible career choices. • Record your answers on Cornell Note paper (around 1 page per career)

  3. Acceptable AnswersWhat are skills should people in this field have? (Teacher) • Don’t write short phrases: “Explain things.” • Do write complete sentences: “Teachers need to be able to explain a topic so that others understand them.” • Do come up with multiple answers: “Teachers also need to be able to multitask. They have to make many decisions at once.” Around 1 page of notes for each career

  4. Career Research • Keep working with: http://www.bls.gov/ooh/occupation-finder.htm • At some point, look at: http://www.shmoop.com/careers/ Add to your list of questions: What is a typical day like in your career? Answer in Shmoop website.

  5. Happiness Index • Google “Career Happiness Index 2012” • Create a section on your notes and explain where your career fell.
