Student planner/Assignment Books • Homework Hotline and teacher websites • Friday Folders every week • 5th grade dismisses students out the back door next to the kindergarten playground. • Early dismissals are alternating times 11:30am and 11:50am. Please refer to Chestnutwold website and calendar. • Be prepared for daily specials (P.E., Art, Music, Library) • Refer to school website (E Faculty) for updated information • The 5th grade information handbook is posted on each of our websites. Click on E-faculty on the school website. This includes all important information and has all of our email addresses and phone numbers.

  13. Daily Snack Please send a healthy, easy snack from the SAFE FOODS list with your child each day. The Safe Foods list is on the website.

  14. Holiday Celebrations • All holiday parties are going to be celebrated with the entire 5th grade (Halloween, Winter, Healthy Heart Day) • Birthdays are nonfood celebrations with just your child’s homeroom- Instead of food your child can select a game or book to share with the class.

  17. Next, go to their Math classroom and get a student reference book to take home. Then, go to your child’s Language Arts class and remember to sign up for the Dec. report card conference.
