  3. Purpose of SBDC The Small Business Development Center is a nationally recognized engine for small business and entrepreneurial development. The SBDC provides an array of active programs designed to support the development of new and emerging businesses

  4. Main Functions of the SBDC • Business counseling for small business owners in Central MA region • Common access point for financing • Offers course- Management Consulting Projects with GSOM • Sponsors training seminars • Counselors attend professional training seminars

  11. Conclusion/Recommendations • Over the next one to two years we would like to see the SBDC move from 16% DBD to a 67% DBD. • We have identified three main for improvement as follows: • Website capabilities • Backend integration • Cost reduction
