Westlake Dryer vent Cleaners Westlake Dryer vent Cleaners The Dryer Vent Cleaning Wizard Takes part in Tough Mudder 2017 in order to Raise Money for the Children's Burn Foundation Since 2012, wizards throughout the United States have partnered with the Children's Burn Foundation, a group that contributes health and emotional treatment for children who are survivors of fires, and also enlightening presentations regarding fire prevention and safety The local Dryer Vent Cleaning Wizard associates with franchisees across the nation who get involved in a month-long fundraising cause for the Children's Burn Foundation during October, National Fire Prevention Month. The donations come directly from their corporate office and franchisees, who either pledge a dollar amount for each job they complete in October or give a certain amount. Last year, Dryer Vent Wizard was able to donate almost $21,000, raising their overall contributions made to the Children's Burn Foundation to $63,955. In order to achieve their 2017 goal of generating $25,000, their corporate office engaged in some distinct fundraising besides their next October drive. On June 3rd, members of the corporate team engaged in the Tough Mudder race to elevate awareness for the Children's Burn Foundation. Tough Mudder is a perseverance meet where attendees strive to race through a muddy 10-- 12 mile-long military-style obstacle course. This is the first year Dryer Vent Wizard has performed in a Tough Mudder race, and they are hoping that they will encounter as much caring support for the Children's Burn Foundation in the course of this Tough Mudder drive as they have throughout their past five years of National Fire Prevention Month drives.
