  2. Status • Our tool is almost done few pieces are missing (we should get them this week • Cells and heaters have been received Flexible dowels Load cell + vacuum head

  3. Cells and Heaters test • Trial test has been done with cells and heaters successfully

  4. Test planning • Unfortunately our clean room will be unavailable for 5 weeks due to infrastructure work • Planned measurements are : • Full cells and heaters metrological scanning (especially thicknesses and planarity) • Cell on tool positioning repeatability measurements • Heater on tool positioning repeatability measurements • Heater pick up and placement accuracy and repeatability with the bridge

  5. Glue deposition • A lot of work remain to be done on the glue deposition technique • This will be done during the clean room work • Test program is: • Minimal glue thickness measurement • Load to achieve this thickness • Glue pattern optimization and repeatability measurement

  6. Conclusion • We should complete the work within 6 week from now and proceed to the heaters assembly • During trial tests we observed carbon particles pollution on the tooling  it is mandatory to find a protection to avoid this dust  TPG is very brittle sans can be a source of large conductive particles • We will start to tack cells and heaters geometry as QC step to better understand how flexible the tool needs to be • If the Z tool adjustment works fine we will put a motorized one to have a complete automatic assembly • The load cell is very accurate and deform linearly, we will characterized the load cell deformation vs load this could permit us to know the cell + module thickness and have a direct information on the glue thickness
