  1. Look at the cartoon below. What is the problem with all the Covenants so far? • To explain the promises & demands of God’s Covenant through Jesus • To compare it Jesus’ Covenant with the other Covenants

  2. God’s Covenant through Jesus • Why can’t God let us go to heaven? Justice issue/ imperfect souls • Choose one of the Covenants. How have we broken it? We have broken Abraham’s / Moses’ covenant because… we are not blameless/ faithful/ have broken the commandments of... • How does Jesus make it possible for us to go to heaven? • Draw the picture below with the call-out. • How is Jesus’ covenant sealed? (the sacrificed animal/blood ) • What is the sign of Jesus’ Covenant? (to show this covenant has been done) • **Who suffers the penalties of breaking God’s demands, in this Covenant? Why? This is the new Covenant in my blood. Take it, all of you, and eat it.

  3. GOD In God’s Covenant through Jesus, we still need to keep God’s laws and walk in faith, blamelessly. But in this Covenant we can be forgiven if we do break them, and so we can have eternal life in heaven. We also get given Jesus’ spirit in us, to help us keep the Commandments and live a blameless life. 1. Draw speech bubbles & complete for what God promises, and what we need to do. 2. Is this easier or harder than what the other Covenants demanded? Explain 2 reasons why. **What happened to the other promises God made to Abraham, Moses and David?

  4. Jesus’ Covenant is better because.. • You can be forgiven • You don’t have to keep the 10C’s • You have God’s help to follow Him • You must be circumcised
