  2. Hi Everyone. Let’s get things started on my new site with this as the first post. I believe that treatment for addiction needs to change. Most people can’t afford residential treatment so access to good programming and qualified counsellors is not a possibility for 95% of people who need help. That is why I started My Online Recovery. This is a collection of the programs and courses which I offer in my traditional Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program at my facility. The substance abuse material for alcoholics and drug addicts is online and ready to go, Family and Friends Program nearly set to launch with Relapse Prevention, Sex Addiction and, Codependency/Family of Origin not far behind. • Each program is priced so anyone can afford to get the help they need. And they will be able to work at their own pace without having to go to a treatment facility.

  3. I want to be clear. There are lots of treatment facilities who do great work, have well qualified staff and provide some things you can’t get online. But those ones are even more expensive than the average of $14,000 for a residential program in North America. I believe that many people can get sober without going to a residential program and that people deserve quality program and material delivery. That is why I am offering the programs I have been delivering to my treatment center clients in this online format. • Addiction is a 24 hour per day 7 day per week problem and access to good programming should be as well. As long as you have internet access, you can take these courses.

  4. This is just one form of intervention. There are many more including therapy, sober coaches, outpatient programs and residential programs. Everyone needs to decide which is best for them. You can take any of the programs for much less than it would cost for one or two hours with a qualified therapist. • I have put my 12 years of experience working with addicts, alcoholics and their families combined with my 30 plus years of be an active alcoholic/addict together and created a one of a kind online experience for those who have been impacted by addiction and/or family trauma and dysfunction.
