  1. STUDY CLUBS & STUDY TABLES What are they and what are the differences?

  2. Study club • It’s your opportunity to get help from teachers if they choose to stay on a certain day. Please talk to your teachers about their availability • Offered Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays until 3:05 pm • May be assigned by a teacher if work is not completed • Starts at 2:35 pm - you HAVE to plan ahead to stay – not last minute • We offer a Study Club bus on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays that leaves by 3:10 pm. YOU MUST GET A STUDY CLUB BUS PASS (YELLOW) DURING LUNCH OR BEFORE SCHOOL IN THE MAIN OFFICE FROM MS. OMDAHL • The bus drops you off at CLOSE to your original stop. There are over 30 stops, so it could take awhile depending on where you live and how full it is. We have a map to help you figure out what your stop number is.

  3. Study table • Available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until 4:00 pm in the Cafeteria • Study Table is for students who need a quiet place to do their work and get help if they need it • Students need to report right after school by 2:35 pm to the Cafeteria • Study Table is not a time for socializing or hanging out – work is expected to be done during the 90 minute session – it’s your chance to get things done before heading home – access to WiFi, support, etc. • Students can come after their Study Club session but only with an escort or email from their teacher to the Study Table Supervisors, Ms. Conley or Ms. Ancharski. Students need to report to the cafeteria immediately • Students get a Study Table Bus Pass (blue) at lunch from Ms. Conley (Ellen)

  4. Two different tickets Study Club Bus Ticket – 3:05 bus (picked up in Main Office) Study Table Bus Ticket – 4:00 bus (picked up at lunch in Cafeteria)

  5. In summary…. • Study Club = 3:05 bus Study Table = 4:00 bus • Study Club = Mon., Tues., Fri Study Table = Tues., Wed., Thurs. • Study Club in classes with your own teacher; Study Table in Cafeteria • Both have to be planned ahead, no last minute choices of who/where to stay • Pickup Bus Passes: Study Club = before school, at lunch in office; Study Table = at lunch in the Cafeteria Both buses use the same routes. The time it takes you to get home depends on how many ride (maximum of 65) and where your stop is (30+ stops). If you don’t know what stop number you are, we have a map to help you!
