Reading Story: Luke Goes to Bat Genre: Realistic Fiction Language Arts:Subject Verb Agreement Math Continue on Topic 7: Mental Subtraction Science: Earth’s Resources Social Studies Martin Luther King Jr. • Classroom News • We are learning about Rocks this week and I would like for your child to bring a small rock to class Wednesday, January 8th. Do not allow him/her to bring a rock larger than the size of a golf ball. • -The weather is changing, but please remember hoodies are NOT allowed in the classroom or the hallways. • -Tutorials are mandatory, please have your child attend on their designated days. Failure to appear will result in DPS. • Monday- Reading Tuesday- Math LUNCH MENU Monday- Chicken Noodle Alfredo, green beans, slc. Bread Tuesday-Hamburger, lettuce, tomato, pickles, peaches Wednesday-Chicken Parma, broccoli with cheese, bread, fruit Thursday-Pizza, carrots, pineapple Friday-Hot dog, chili, corn, diced pears • Reminders from • Mrs. Salas & Mrs. Gloria • On free dress days students can not wear ugg boots or high boots over the jeans. The only boot that can be worn are the western boots and the pants have to go over the pants. In addition, the shoe colors also have to be black, brown, blue, white, or red on these days as well. • 5 tardies will result in Saturday detention • 10 DPS will result in Thursday detention • DPS or failing grades will result in students being placed on probation from extracurricular activities and clubs • Shirts need to be tucked at all times • No hoodies allowed on campus
