Based on responses to questionnaire from the WG Authores: Ole Gjerde, Olav B.Fosso, Paul Giesbertz, Les Clarke, Per-Anders Löf, Ben Li, Al DiCaprio, Hubert Lemmons, Chai Ming Mak, Veli-Jukka Pyötsiä and Juan Bogas

WG C2/C5.05 Development and Changes in the Business of System Operators WG C2/C5.05progress of work: (6) • A paper is proposed for the Paris session 2004 with the title ”Electric Power System Operating Standards. A Search for Justification” and has been accepted • The WG seeks to discuss the current set of international operating standards from different parts of the world, and to identify from a SO point of view how the market environment is changing the meaning of standards and how SOs respond to those standards
