  2. Tasks for Creating Common Craft-Style VideosStoryboard a script for the video. This will involve making sure you are explaining how something works, or why it was important. Time your explanation in order to reduce it to its most simple form. Create props for the video. Props in this case will largely be paper cutouts of simple drawings. You can plan to use printed words as part of your props. Ideally, printed words should be used for a title slide and a bibliography slide. It will take you a few extra minutes to type, but this will result in a more professional-looking product. Designate presentation specialists. Two group members should be involved in manipulating the paper cutouts in sync to the narration/explanation of the event. Shoot the video. You will only require one camera angle for this style of video. Edit the video. Access the AtomicLearning tutorials if you need support for using MovieMaker or iMovie software. Narrate the video. One or two student voices can be assigned to this task. You can narrate as the action is taking place, or narration can be added on a separate voice-over. The second option is probably a better move Back

  5. Eportfolio The course first started with the Eportfolio, this was not so much as a technique to help with our students but to help with our careers. The eportfolio is able to show opinons, student works, teachers projects and so much more. This enables teachers to share knowledge and learn from others, allowing us to share our practices, methods and opinons. 9. Digital Story Back Info

  10. Spreadsheet… We also made a spreadsheet using ICT expectations tables. The chosen topic for myself was a budget for a middle class family of 4 for a $3000 dollar budget. This was enjoyable as I was creating a metaphorical holiday, it didn’t feel like a uni assignment. I find this to be quite a good project to use in my future classroom as the freedom of choosing from the list of topics/tasks gave an enjoyment aspect to the project. I could choose a topic that interested me and that I favoured in doing, this could be a benefit when using it in the classroom. Learning this skill is very helpful even in day to day life, I now know how to use certain tools in excel that allow me to organize my budget if I choose to. ICT Expectations Back

  11. Scoop It is a website that allows you to tag articles and photo onto your page. And by doing that those articles and photos are then posted on your page. This allows you to share Interesting things with other people. Students could use it to share articles of use with other students. http://www.scoop.it/ Back Screenshot

  12. The digital story using Power point and the hyperlink tool. This is where you create a game/adventure using the slides. This can challenge and teach students while giving them an engaging learning lesson. My project was to Help Billy Find his Saxaphone. They metaphorically travelled through his house while answering questions about music and theory. If they answered the questions correctly they would be one step closer to finding billys saxophone. This is great because students are present this as a game. It is interactive so they don’t picture it as school work. This creates a fun learning enviroment. Where they are enjoying themselves and learning at the same time. Back

  14. Benefits of Eportfolio • Allows to share with other teachers • Learn from other portfolios • Give examples of your work and the work of your students Back

  15. Podcast Back Info

  16. The podcast is a perfect tool for the students to use as it is a creative method of projecting the information that they learn in class. A good factor is that it is not restricted to specific subjects, students can use this for all subjects. Math, sport, science and art. I personally would us this in the future because it is a great teaching method. Back
