Galatians Salvation by law? Sanctification by law?

In this passage from Galatians, Paul expresses his astonishment at the Galatians turning away from the grace of Christ to a different gospel. He warns against those who seek to pervert the true gospel of Christ and emphasizes the importance of holding fast to the correct gospel. The passage highlights the absolute nature of the gospel and cautions against compromising its message.

  1. Galatians Salvation by law? Sanctification by law?

  2. 6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

  3. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. Paul’s team including Paul himself and Barnabas Acts 11:24,26

  4. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. Someone of high authority from Heaven

  5. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

  6. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 1Cor 15 1) Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand,… that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,

  7. Reaffirmed 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. Paul is very caustic because the the gospel he and his team preached was final, complete, absolute, not to be tampered with. Ron Merryman ,Merryman ministries A false gospel would be worse then a doctor delivering poison to a patient when the patient thought it was a cure.

  8. 10 For (explanation of his caustic speech) do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? The answer to both of these is “God”

  9. For if I still pleased men, Namely the Jewish legalists I would not be a bondservant of Christ. To please God rather then men on this issue of the gospel is vital. How could Paul be a good servant of Christ by distorting the gospel by compromise!!! “C’mon Paul unity at all costs right?”

  10. “It’s just a way to insure right behavior, after all the law is good right?” “And those crazy Gentiles need a guide, what’s it going to hurt?” 1 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? 2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

  11. 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” Is the correct gospel important?
