  • All the consultants are registered with National and international bodies such as JASWA and work within legislative requirements.
  • Expertise in Mental Health, Youth offending, Substance misuse, Child Protection and safeguarding, Analytical assessment, Attachment separation and loss, Managing difficult behaviour, learning and development and the monitoring, support and supervision of Foster/Kinship placements.

What we are doing….

  • ICAS has been operating in Jamaica since 2010, and has built a productive, professional working relationship with The CDA and other voluntary organisations.
  • Our Ethos is ‘To Make a Difference, to the lives of children and Families across the Caribbean through service provision and support’.
  • Whilst working in partnership with the CDA and many other Voluntary agencies, it has become clear to us that there are areas within Social Care where ICASS could work in partnership with the CDA, in order to achieve some of the targets identified in the ‘Vision 2030 Jamaica’ National Development Plan
slide4

Why are we here today?

  • To present a proposal on how ICASS can support Jamaica in implementing the 2030 Vision in areas pertaining to Social Care.
  • Recognition of the importance of engaging with Government leaders to gain acknowledgement and accreditation.
