Thomsen Afdeling for Plantevækst og Jord Jordløsning kan fremme frigivelsen af kvælstof, og dermed anvendes som styringsredskab til at øge mængden af mineralsk kvælstof i planternes vækstperiode. • Jordløsninger i vårbyg: • Uden jordløsning • 1 x jordløsning (16. maj) • 2 x jordløsning (16. maj + 30. maj) • 3 x jordløsning (16. maj + 30. maj + 13. juni) • Sædskifte: • Vinterhvede • Vårbyg (+/- efterafgrøde) • Vårbyg (+/- efterafgrøde) • Vårraps • Organiske stofniveauer siden 1987: • Handelsgødning • Gylle • Gylle + halm • Gylle + halm + efterafgrøde Der blev fundet op til 19 kg mineralsk N/ha mere med 3 x jord-løsning ( ) i forhold til ubearbejdet jord ( ). Udbyttet af planteklip i vækstsæsonen viste ikke tilsvarende positiv effekt af jordløsning-erne. Kerneudbyttet af byg høstet ved modenhed var upåvirket af jordløsningerne. 1 x jordløsning gav højere N-optagelse (ca. 5 kg N/ha) i forhold til de andre behandlinger.
