  4. Processor Type/Model: The Intel Core i3-350M is a lower-middle class dual core CPU for laptops and clocks with 2.26 GHz. Each core is based on micro-architecture. Hyper threading enables the Dual Core CPU to handle 4 threads at once (for a better usage of the pipeline).

  5. Processor Speed/CPU Cores: The processor speed (clock rate) runs at 2260 MHz (Mega Hertz) for high performance in executing tasks and processing calculations. It is a dual core processor therefore it can process ordinary CPU instructions like add, move data, and branch, but the multiple cores can run multiple instructions at the same time, increasing overall speed for programs. Memory & Storage: • RAM (Read Only Memory): With a RAM capacity of 6114MB it has a large storage of “volatile memory” which means that many programs can be used simultaneously with no affect to the CPU’s performance. The memory technology used is DDR3 SDRAM (Double Data Rate {Type 3} - Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory). Also has standard built in interfaces such as: Stereo Audio (for high quality sound), Loud Speakers (for enhanced audio projection e.g. small sized rooms) and a microphone for sound recording or the use of speech to text software.   12. Wire Networks: • Wi-Fi: This technology allows an electronic device to exchange data wirelessly via radio waves over a computer network also including high speed internet connections. It is based on the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) 802.11 standards, specifically (IEEE 802.11n). IEEE 802.11n allows significantly fast net data rates around 600Mbit/s. It use of MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) technology which uses multiple antennas to resolve more information simultaneously.

  13. Ethernet (LAN): Ethernet is the computer networking technology for (LANs). This device has a 1000Mbit/s Ethernet speed which allows for fast transfer of information and data. • eSATA: Also known as (External Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) functions as an extension to the Serial ATA (HDD Interface) and enables SATA drives to be attached externally. Summary/Conclusion: Its powerful first-generation Core i3 350M processor easily handles basic computing tasks like email, web surfing and large memory programs and can even be used for editing and high-definition (HD) content. Its high RAM memory creates a fast machine capable of running demanding programs, such as video and photo editing and games. The RAM memory and dedicated ATi Mobility Radeon HD 5470 produce high quality graphical performance, making it capable of playing high CPU memory demanding games and use 3D rendering software with no virtually effort. This laptop is ideal for students who like to dabble in some light gaming when they're not studying and who seldomly use the internet and its resources.
