  4. 1. Closely coordinate with CEOS and SIT • WGISS Chair and Vice Chair will closely cooperate with CEOS Chair team and SIT Chair team • To make sure that WGISS can bring CEOS policy into actionable Actions

Strengthen and support internal cooperation • Security Project • White paper on issue and best Practices • Data Management IG • Data, meta-data and product topics • Concerning data content, metadata content, data formats, data preservation (archiving) • The functionality of tools and data services • User functional focus, not technical • Data and meta-data format and exchange standards and guidelines • Common best practices for storing and exchanging data and meta-data

Provide satellite arm of GEO System of Systems • AR-09-02C: Flood Sensor web Emergency Response Prototype • To support Disaster SBA in making use of existing technologies to strengthen Disaster response management • DA-09-01b: Data, Metadata, and Products Harmonization • Work with VCs and SBAs on developing portal based on CWIC experience • Work with CEO to report to GEO ADC and share ADC meeting highlight with WGSS

  16. 6.Continuing support Data Democracy Program • Software packages • Deliver Software package developed by South Africa to SE Asia countries as planned by data democracy program • Cooperated with WGEdu on training the abovementioned software • Support lecturers for the Training on Data access and processing for Disaster management

  17. 7.Outreach • Strengthen relationship with other international entities • Consider way to support new CODATA Global road initiative with EO Data and process • Strengthen coordination with APN to transfer technology on Data Access to Asia Pacific countries • Coordinate with OGC
