Self audit On a scale of 1-5 (1=low, 5=high) come up with a number for the following:- • Do I work well in a group? • Am I always doing what I have been asked when I am doing group work? • Can I listen to someone telling me something without interrupting them? • Can I respond to other people’s opinions in a constructive way? • Does everybody’s opinion count?

  6. Discuss the meaning of the following quotation “Crowds tend to be wise only if individual members act responsibility and make their own decisions. A group won’t be smart if its members imitate one another, slavishly follow fads or wait for someone to tell them what to do.” Why can working in groups and discussing ideas in groups be a really good way of learning?

  7. I CAN listen well! • In pairs, take it in turns, one of you will describe the image, the other has their back to the screen and will sketch what it looks like • After one minute show your sketch • How helpful were the descriptions? • How well did you listen?
