  1. “Let’s Talk About God!” Malachi 3:16 (KJV) Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.

  2. Spirit & Truth John 4:23-24 (NIV) Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. [24] God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

  3. The Biblical Concept of God Daniel 4:35 (NIV) All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: "What have you done?"

  4. . • Job 34:14-15 (NIV) If it were his intention and he withdrew his spirit and breath, [15] all mankind would perish together and man would return to the dust. • Job 23:13 (NIV) "But he stands alone, and who can oppose him? He does whatever he pleases. • Isaiah 46:10-11 (NIV) I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. [11] From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do. • Acts 4:27-28 (NIV) Indeed Herod and Pontius Pilate met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in this city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed. [28] They did what your power and will had decided beforehand should happen.

  5. The Awesomeness of God Isaiah 45:7 (NIV) I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things. Amos 3:6 (NIV) When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a city, has not the Lord caused it?

  6. Humanity Confused Daniel 2:37-38 (NIV) You, O king, are the king of kings. The God of heaven has given you dominion and power and might and glory; [38] in your hands he has placed mankind and the beasts of the field and the birds of the air. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold.

  7. Man’s Darkened Mind Daniel 4:23-26 (NIV) "You, O king, saw a messenger, a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying, 'Cut down the tree and destroy it, but leave the stump, bound with iron and bronze, in the grass of the field, while its roots remain in the ground. Let him be drenched with the dew of heaven; let him live like the wild animals, until seven times pass by for him.' [24] "This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree the Most High has issued against my lord the king: [25] You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like cattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes. [26] The command to leave the stump of the tree with its roots means that your kingdom will be restored to you when you acknowledge that Heaven rules.

  8. Man Greatly Humbled Daniel 4:36-37 (NIV) At the same time that my sanity was restored, my honor and splendor were returned to me for the glory of my kingdom. My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored to my throne and became even greater than before. [37] Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. Andthose who walk in pride he is able to humble.

  9. God’s Supreme Power Daniel 4:17 (NIV) "The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign (supreme power), over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of men.'

  11. Know Thyself Man’s anthem, “KNOW THYSELF” has led to a powerful manifestation of man, his traits, potential and greatness, while leading to an obscurity of the nature and person of Almighty God!

  12. Man Made In God’s Image • Even in the church, God is being caste in the image of man. God is perfect, all powerful, all knowing, everywhere present. Nothing is hid from His eyes. There is nothing that exists without Him, not even evil. Yet God has never committed evil. • God’s potential and possibility is His actuality and reality. They are One! • Man’s potential and what he is actually will never be one. He is finite and a mere creature, not discounting the fact that he is an amazing creature.

  13. The King Does As He Pleases! Daniel 11:33-36 (NIV "Those who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered. [34] When they fall, they will receive a little help, and many who are not sincere will join them. [35] Some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time. [36] "The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place.
