  1. Translator & Interpreter Dustin Rivard 5/7/2014 1ST Hour Career Tech.

The career I chose was a translator & Interpreter • Fact: Having this career allows you to talk to new people. • What got me interested in this job was I always loved to talk to people and help people so being able to do them both is an amazing thing. • The things I will be researching will be the nature of work, working conditions, education, and the pay.

  3. Nature of work • 5 responsibilities would be able to know the language you are translating , Study even more even though you know the language it just keeps you up to date, be dressed to impress, Be nice and respectful, and never talk bad about the client. • The thing I will love the most about this job will be speaking to new people . • The thing that isn't that enjoyable is the constant traveling.

  4. Working conditions • This job is mental work and is an indoor job and the hours vary and the environment is nice with a peaceful area.

  5. Education • You will need your bachelors degree • And I plan on studying abroad at Asahi Nihongo Language and internship school • There are really no classes in this school to prepare me for this career.

  6. Job outlook Translators and interpreter jobs are to grow 46% in the future Its kind of competitive with getting a client. I would like to find these career openings in maybe California if possible There is no particulars place I would like to work at.

  7. Pay • Translators and interpreters make $21.84 an hour • This pay is the pay that is desirable and fits my lifestyle • And my first purchase with these earnings will be an apartment.

  8. Related occupation • My backup career is an actor. • The responsibilities are learning your lines manly and showing up, your work conditions are varied, you need no degree, the outlook is most don’t get hired, and the earnings are 20 dollars an hour. • I chose this because I like acting

  9. Summery • My feelings after researching it is I'm personality happier I feel like I can do it. I feel that my goal is achievable. The one thing I look forward to the most is talking to the new people and exploring a bit. Learning more about this career truly benefited me. Why because it educated me more on the jobs.
