  4. File>Save As

  5. Window>Keyboard Timeline Track Headers Track Mixers Zoom Slider + New, Info, Loop, Edit Track Buttons

  6. GarageBand>Preferences>General Tab

  7. GarageBand>PreferencesAudio/Midi Tab

  8. GarageBand>PreferencesExport Tab

  9. GarageBand>PreferencesAdvanced Tab

  10. Track>New Track Transport Buttons

  11. New Track Pop-Up Window Select Category Select Instruments

  12. New Software Instrument Track Appears Time Display

  13. Track>New Track Select Category Select Instruments

  14. New Real InstrumentTrack Appears Master Volume

  15. Eye Icon: Loop Browser Button Keyword Buttons Song Window Appears

  16. Select Desired Loop Buttons Button View Icon Results List

  17. Or Select Desired Loop Listings Column View Search Volume

  18. Green Icons Represent Software Loops

  19. Blue Icons Represent Real Instrument Loops

  20. Click a Loop from the Listto Hear the Audio File

  21. Click & Drag Your Loop to Either the Software or Instrument Track Arrow Key Start, Spacebar to Stop

  22. Select a Loop>Position the Beat Ruler>Edit>Split

  23. Click & Drag to Extend a Clip

  24. Select a Loop>Shift Click to Add Another Loop

  25. To Put Two Clips Together: Edit>Join Selected

  26. The Two Loops are Joined

  27. Window>Keyboard

  28. Click a Software Track HeadingClick a Key on Keyboard (Blue)

  29. Arrow Button on the Keyboard Changes Octaves Higher or Lower

  30. Select a New Instrument TrackPress New Keyboard Instrument

  31. Place the Beat Ruler, Select Track Head, Record, Play Keyboard Notes in Track Keyboard Record

  32. Stop Button or Press Spacebar Record Play/Stop

  33. Select Cycle Region Button, Click & Drag Yellow Beats to Cycle Cycle Region Strip In Yellow Record Software Loops Cycle Region Button Record or R Key

  34. While Software Loop Plays You Can Add More Keyboard Audio

  35. Control>Metronome Ticks to Tempo To Keep Beat as Recording

  36. Control>Count In Adds a Delay to Prepare for Recording

  37. Click the Software Loop to Edit,Click the Beginning Ruler Area Grey Notes Track Editor Button or Double Click on the Software Loop

  38. Click Drag Notes to Edit

  39. Zoom Slider

  40. Drag Note Up/Down Left/Right,Can Select Note>Delete Key,Command Click to Add a New Note

  41. Velocity Darker Notes Louder,Transpose Raises/Lowers Pitch

  42. Check Down Arrow Track Volume Drag Volume Slider, Line Moves

  43. Check Track Volume to Edit,Click Control Points & Drag Volume Can Delete Points

  44. Select the TrackTrack>Show Track Info

  45. Select Details>Set As DesiredSelect Icon Well Icon Well

  46. Select a Icon & It Appears in the Track Heading, Save Instrument

  47. Save Instrument Dialogue BoxProvide a New Name>Save

  48. Track>New Track

  49. Real Audio Tracks are Blue,Change Existing Track Double Click

  50. Select Desired Settings
