Re 1 extended culling option 1

[RE-1] Extended Culling Option (1)

Extended Culling

Description:

You can delete all surfaces that are not visible in specified cameras.

Execution command:

C> xvlreducer –i 0 0 --viewpoints <view point list> aspect < Input XVL> <OutputXVL>

Delete surfaces that are outside the view of the specified camera(s).

Camera viewpoint

Camera viewpoint

Benefit:

Viewpoint list is a text file that lists cameras to apply.

Camera-1

Camera-2

You can minimize the file size by removing surfaces that are not included in the view(s).

Description:

When you use the extended culling option, you have the option to keep complete shells.

Execution command:

C> xvlreducer –i 0 0 --viewpoints <view point list> 1 --delete-shells mode < Input XVL> <OutputXVL>

If any surfaces of a shell are visible from the camera viewpoint(s), all the surfaces in the shell are kept.

Because some surfaces are deleted, the shell geometries are broken.
