  6. GENERAL COMMENTS FROM AQ • We’re happy in the “commessa” where we were! • We’re confident that we can find a new “commessa” where we’re as happy as we were! • We suggest avoiding complex procedures in the reorganization process: boundary conditions still seem rather vague …. • We may suggest few and generic “containers” (still characterizing our core-activities): • Magnetism and other ferroic orders • Superconductivity • Physics and systems of low dimensionality • “Other advanced materials and devices” • This can be surely qualified as expected, trivial, vague… on the other hand, it is difficult to make definite choices without money! • Better to leave the researchers as free as possible to apply for new calls that may appear from time to time Fancy names: Nanoferronics, Valleytronics, etc

  7. QUESTIONS • What is the reorganization process primarily aimed at? • To make people better understand what we’re doing (i.e. website)? • NB: We’re not so much convinced that any reorganization should comply/help with the Horizon 2020 framework …. • How is the scientific reorganization going to affect or match with the CNR-SPIN administration ? • Comment from RUOS: we have to make things work !! • Reminder: • Presently: COMMESSE inter UOS, but MODULI are intra-UOS ! Let’s discuss !
