  4. 1. Describe the basis of your arrangement. (What unique characteristic(s) allows your objects to be arranged in their particular manner?) • The basis of the arrangement of my Periodic Table is color. The two main categories of my table is color. The symbol describes the blanket based on the color material and texture. It is divided in to two sections light colors and dark colors.

  5. 2. What are the important features of your table? • The two most important features in my table are color light and dark. Then the next most important features are material, and texture.

  6. 3. How are your arrangements of objects similar to the Periodic Table of Elements? Explain. For example, you could discuss: Do you have names for rows or columns? Are your objects arranged by mass/shape/color? Can your table be divided into different groups? Do the objects in your rows or columns have special or similar properties? • I would say that my table has more was that it is different than it is the same to the Periodic Table of Elements. But a way that my table and the Periodic Table of Elements is that mine I have rows like the Periodic Table of Elements. A final way that my table is similar to the Periodic Table of Elements is there is a gap in both.

  7. 4. How is your arrangement different from the Periodic Table of Elements? Explain • There are many ways that my table is different from the Periodic Table of Elements, for example I have rows but not columns. Another way my table is different is the Periodic Table of Elements symbols are two to three letters long where mine are much longer like five or six. Also my table has items on it that wont explode.

  8. 5. Mendeleev created a periodic table of elements and predicted characteristics of missing elements. Make a prediction about an object on your table that has not yet been discovered (the object will follow the known one on your table). You should provide an actual example of the object and you should provide detailed reasoning for why this particular object will fit into your periodic table according to your arrangement. • I think that the next item that would be in my table would be a type of blanket would be a different type of material blanket because there are many other blankets in the world that are not just made out of Fleece, Cotton, Silk, or Wool. It has a fifty – fifty chance of being light colored or dark. As for the texture it has a higher chance of being soft or smooth based on my data because there were only few blankets that were itchy or rough.

  9. Citation • Due to the fact that my table didn’t need any online research my citation is the stores that all of the blankets were bought from over the years. The only two stores are Meijer and Target.
