  2. Background -Arthur Miller was born on October 17, 1915 in New York city -In 1932 after graduating high school Miller went to work in an auto parts warehouse -Two years later he enrolled in the University of Michigan -He won two Avery Hop Wood award for play writing

  7. Final Years Before he died, his very last play was: The Price (1968) His 3rd wife died Planned to marry his 4th wife, Agnes Barley. Unfortunately, on February 10, 2005 (the 56th anniversary of Death of a Salesman's Broadway debut), Miller died at 89 years old due to heart failure.
