  2. Characteristics • Small – around 300k • Fast – no hourglasses during data entry • Stable – crashes rare or non-existent, incorruptible database • Intuitive – hours of training vs. days • Universal – one cruise data file used from cruise design through processing

  3. Easy Cruise Establishment • Pull-down list contents are created on the fly from related tables • Establishment information may be checked for cruise design flaws or pitfalls • Imported from cruise design program

  4. Customizable • Which fields are visible and their order • Custom data validation ranges and lists • Customizations stay with the cruise file, or may be exported and distributed as templates

  5. Intuitive Data Entry • Design and testing by timber cruisers • Data validation on the fly • Touchscreen or keyboard data entry • Tally screen quick and easy to setup and use
