The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) defines FM as; "…a profession thatencompasses multiple disciplines to ensurefunctionality of the builtenvironment by integrating people, place, processand technology." Facility Manager’s may share the same job title, but no two perform identical functions, roles and responsibilities.
