GOES-RRR/AWG ‘Critical Path’ Milestones • FY09 • Complete study of ABI-like AMVs using SEVERI data (heritage channels). - Continue comparison/validation studies of simulated GOES-R AMVs produced by GEOCAT (GOES-R) and WINDCO (existing) - Add Visible and SWIR channel(s) • Complete GRAFIIR studies to document the sensitivity of various noise effects on AMVs • Initial demo of potential AMVs from non-heritage spectral bands - ABI Channels 9-13 (WV, Ozone, IR) • Update ATBD with new science results
