The Rules of Building • Think about where you place customers and why. • Go across before down or wide before deep. • Ask a business builder before placing someone on their 1st line. • Make business decisions when placing customers. • Your first line is the most valuable use it wisely. • Never put a personal customer below your third line. Remember your business is always growing away from you place all customers in the highest position available at the times.

  3. Practice Placement As we cover each person that enrolls we will discuss where they will be placed and why. You have only 5 front line positions, 6 if you enroll a non-profit organization. You will earn additional front line positions when you become a Senior Director.

  4. Reading The Grid • In the top box put the name of the person at the top of the organization you are charting. • There are 3 sizes of boxes: • The 5 large boxes across the page are the 1st line. • The 5 med. boxes going down are the 2nd line. • The 125 small boxes are the 3rd line. This grid will chart 3 generations or 155 customers.

  5. Frontline Positions BB BB BB BB UL/BB 1 2 3 4 5 FF = Friends and family for those not wanting to build a business. This is your parking lot. BB = Business Builders used for those wanting to build a business. Purchased CP or VP and or Kits. UL/BB = A position you can place a BB or maybe someone in your support team may place a BB in your business.

  6. Your 5 X 7 Matrix There a 5 positions under each customer. You can chose to fill or not fill a position. BB ____ ____ _____ ____ ____ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Melaleuca pays 7 levels deep.

  7. Let’s Fill-in The Grid • Get your grid and placement practice you printed and fill in the grid as we discuss where we are going to place each customer. • When we are done with the practice you will know how to place customers in your organization. • If ever in doubt please consult with someone in your support team, moving customers is expensive and sometimes not possible.
