Purpose Statement

  • University of Texas at El PasoMy name is Bryan Romero and I want to study Criminal Justice at University of Texas at El Paso.  I should be the one that is selected in this program because I have high expectations for everything and I’m also very organized. I always have a positive attitude towards everything. I also want to study at UTEP because I’m a resident of El Paso Texas and the tuition will be less for me. All of my summers in high school have been spent on the campus, so I know most of the campus and it would be easier for me to get to my classes and to get to computer labs as well. Also, it should be me the one selected for the Criminal Justice program because I know how to work well with other and Criminal Justice is all about working well with others. My short term goals are my grades, get a job to something related to Criminal Justice, and help others achieve their goals in this field. What I plan on doing in order to have good grades is to work hard and study hard. In order to get a job in something related to criminal justice is to get a job working in an office were criminal justice work is done. In order to accomplish my short term goal of helping other achieve their goals in this field is to tutor in high schools where there are classes of criminal justice or criminal justice clubs. My long term goal is to be an FBI agent. What I plan to do once I’m a professional is to get a house and start living my life as an FBI agent. I will also start to rank up in the FBI department in order to become an FBI special agent.  i plan to accomplish these goals by working hard and always having a positive attitude towards everything and everyone.
