Aviation at your CLC

  • Using flight simulators to add an aviation component to your Challenger Center.

Why add an aviation component to your Challenger Learning Center ?

  • Adds additional activity to your CLC

  • Could dovetail nicely with Missions

  • Aviation is full of science topics

  • Requires only a computer, joystick, and flight simulator software

  • Aviation is far more accessible for people to explore after being inspired at a CLC

  • Flying flight simulators is FUN!

Flight SimulatorsCome in all kinds of ….

  • sizes,

  • setups,

  • capabilities,

  • variety of aircraft,

  • with or w/o lessons and missions,

  • and price tags!

  • some are FAA approved for pilot training.

  • others are not FAA approved but are just as valuable for training (sometimes better, and usually more fun!)
