PVC polymer used should be of non-migratory nature. • Sub standard PVC coating tends to dissolve in water and has very bad effect on growth and survival of fish. • Fabric should neither be lower GSM nor very high GSM. Ideal GSM used for Fish Tank is 600 GSM ± 10%. This is the international standard followed throughout the world. All farms in Indonesia; Mecca of Biofloc technology is using 600 GSM Fabric. • Tank Should be welded with 3D technology with state of the art Seamtek machine from Switzerland . Welding done in any other machine will give away the joints due to continues pressure of water which result in water leakage. • There should be only one vertical joint in the tank which has to be reinforced with transparent PVC Film to withstand water pressure and long life. • After installation there should not be any wrinkle in the tank. Wrinkle will have adverse impact on growth of fish because ammonia stuck at folds thus biofloc process stops. • All good quality tank s comes with written warranty of 05 years with expected life span of 10 years. • PVC tank should be hemmed and reinforced with 6mm PP Rope for extra strength on periphery of the tank. • Colour of Fish Tank should be light colour like sky blue for better visibility of fish and accumulated sludge.
