  2. Work Schedule Normal hours are 7-9 hours a day. Would normally work 35 to 45 hours a week. Sometimes depends on your schedule, you might work more than 50 hours a week. Being a Veterinarian Tech is a FULL TIME JOB! You weekends are taken up to for your job.

  3. Workplace Environment Outdoors is where some action is taken place. Thought you will mostly work indoors Common Places: • Veterinary offices • Clinics • Hospitals • Animal Shelters, • Etc. Big Places: • Zoo’s • Aquariums • Wildlife centers • Etc.

  4. Extent Of Travel Special trips may be made to house of owners with the doctor Veterinarian. You will travel with veterinarians in mobile clinics to help the animals in barns or open fields. You will be traveling in any kind of of weather(be prepared).
