  • This will include targeting strengths and weaknesses and demographic data.

  • Discussion will follow on how to best support student learning in the identified target areas.

Audience Participation the most improvement, all demographic areas made gains from 2013 to 2014 as a result of an increased focus on science during the 2013-2014 school year.

  • What factors contribute to a lower performance rate overall in science?

  • Science teachers: What assessment tools are used in the classroom to identify strengths and weaknesses with your students?

  • How can we, as a school, support improvement in this area?

  • Non-science teachers: What tasks do you use with your students that support STEM learning? If none, what tasks could be used?
