  2. GP: BM2 In your “Writer’s Notebook”, respond to the following. Title: Inquiring Minds… AN inquiry or exploration essay might summarize a topic, explain a controversy, or explore a subject that your readers don’t know much about. In this type of essay, the writer writes objectively, rather than subjectively taking a stance on an issue or topic. Sometimes writers write inquiry or exploration essays as the first draft of an argumentative essay, in which they take a side and argue a point of view. List six topics or controversies that you would enjoy researching for an inquiry or exploration essay.
