Business Unit Initial Level of Effort Discussion • To help guide you through the level of effort discussion with your Business Units, here are some suggested points to go over: • Go through three Recordable Injury statistical slides, highlighting your specific Business Unit opportunity • Go through proposed enterprise-wide goal (should implementation occur) • Go through how Line of Fire fits in with overall annual enterprise-wide safety campaigns • Review examples of high, medium and low level of effort could look like within your Business Unit • Discuss what would work for your Business Unit based on current Business Unit risk, opportunity, and other 2014 • Discuss what level of effort would be used within your Business Unit in regards to Line of Fire if no enterprise-wide role out occurs (i.e. use previous year’s material, create own Line of Fire program etc.) • Reiterate that this is not a final decision point and that if implementation is approved, this discussion will occur more formally with larger leadership team(s) • The following slides will help guide this discussion. Line of FireProgram: Level of Effort for Area Champion(s) • Based on our Business Unit Risk, what Level of Effort do we want to put behind Line of Fire in 2014 (if any)? • High (5-7hours per week) : • Complete utilization of the 3 Month Focused Campaign • Lead and promote the utilization of all linked tactics within the Activity Package • Track and report our injuries to measure our success • Work with the BU/FN sponsor to escalate issues or highlight opportunities • Customize the supporting campaign material to maximize value within your respective areas • Work with the BU/FN EHS Team to act as a area subject mater experts • Provide ongoing feedback on campaign with Central and other Business Units to enhance future campaigns • Medium (2-5 hours per week): • Lead and promote the utilization of some linked tactics within the Activity Package • Customize the supporting campaign material to maximize value within your respective areas • Low (Minimal 1 hour max per week): • Use visual campaign only (stickers, decals etc.)
