  10. Bellringer: share out 1. A doctor wants to know if eating carrots improves your vision. He gets 50 of his patients to eat raw carrots every night before dinner, and 50 of them to continue with their regular diet. He then tests their vision after 2 months. a. What was the one thing that the doctor changed between the 2 groups of people? b. What would happen if one of the groups of people happened to be a lot older than the other group? How would this affect the doctor’s results?

  14. 3. Their experiment: They decide to pick a volunteer from the class, ________________, to try to guess the color of skittles with his/her eyes closed! First, he/she will try with his/her nose plugged---then, he/she will get to use smell! They will then see if smell affected taste.
