AFOREST • Alliteration – Repetition of a consonant sound. • Facts –These cannot be denied and they back up your argument. • Opinions – Give your opinion but also show the other point of view. • Repetition – Repeat your ideas for emphasis, but phrase them differently. • Rhetorical questions – Asked for effect. They do not require an answer. • Emotive language – Use powerful words. • Statistics – Provide evidence to support your argument. • Three – People remember things when they are said in threes. For example: I like, love and adore… Wars are sad, distressing and painful
