  2. School Hours • School begins at 8:00 am (Students may begin arriving at 7:30 am) • School is dismissed at 2:30 PM. • Classes are fifty-five minutes long with five minutes between classes.

  3. Grades • Parent/Student Portal is available to check grades. We strongly encourage parents and students to check the portal daily. • Progress Reports will be printed at the end of each quarter. • Report Cards will be printed at the end of each semester.

  4. Counselors • Ms. Villines-Sokol works with students in the alphabet A-K • Ms. Wilson works with students in the alphabet L-Z You can consult the school counselors with any problem you are facing in or out of school.

  5. ESC Class(Extended Studies Class) • ESC Teacher - Mrs. Cadue • ESC Class meets Monday/Tuesday

  6. 2017 Course Selection Information Each student received a 2017 Course Selection Card at school today, 4/25/17. Students should take the course selection card home and discuss it with their parents/guardians. Course Selection Cards are due back to the students 1st hour teacher by May 2nd.

  7. 2017 Course Selection information is found on the OPS website at www.owassops.org. Select the “Schools” heading and look for Owasso Seventh Grade Center. When you’ve selected the 7GC look at the left side of the page and find the "Welcome" banner.   12. Enrichment Electives Math Enrichment & Reading Enrichment We will use end of the year summative tests in Math and Reading to determine placement in the Enrichment Electives. Our goal is to ensure all students have ample opportunities for success.

  15. We are excited to introduce a new online registration process for our returning Owasso students. Parents will use InfoSnap to register their student(s) for the upcoming school year. You will receive an email/letter with log-in instructions from InfoSnap before or on May 1st. Parents will also receive their student's individualized “SnapCode” to complete the online registration. There will still be a need to attend schedule pickup day in August to verify residency with a current utility bill and to pick up your student's class schedule. Each school site will have a computer lab available on schedule pickup day to assist anyone in need of a computer or internet. InfoSnap

  16. Why do we need parents to update InfoSnap?? InfoSnap allows us to have the most current information in our student accounting system. If your InfoSnap account is updated before schedule pickup you won't have to stand in long lines.

  17. Mark your Calendars! Schedule Pickup at the 7GC is scheduled August 9th from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the 7GC Gym. **Don't forget to update InfoSnap before August 9th and... remember to bring a copy of the T-dap booster immunization.

  18. 1. Update InfoSnap when you get your letter from OPS.2. A "COPY " of the Tdap booster immunization will be required in order to pick up a schedule at 7GC Schedule Pickup. 3. Don't forget to bring a “T-dap COPY" to schedule pickup. Helpful Reminders

  19. 2017 Student Planner Planners can be purchased for $5 at schedule pickup or on the first day of school. 2017 Student Handbook The 7GC website will have a link to the 2017 Student Handbook for students and parents.

  20. Lockers & Lunches Students will get their locker assignment and locker combination at schedule pickup. Lunch assignments will be announced on the first day of school. You may carry a backpack during the day because we do have 2 separate buildings.
