  2. MARIELENA: Me llamo Marielena, pero mis amigos me llaman Mari. Tengo trece años, y nací el 21 de Julio de 1998. Mi comida favorita es la lasaña, muy típica en la película de Garfield: Physic Appearance: I’m not very tall, but I'm not short. I’m thin. My hair is long, curly and brown. My Hobbies are going out with my friends and go to the swimming pool in summer.

  3. EVA: Me llamo Eva María, pero me llaman Eva. Tengo trece años, y nací el 25 de Febrero de 1999. Mis comidas favoritas son la pizza y la paella española. My physical appearance: I’m more or less tall. I’m thin. My hair is not long but it isn’t short, curly and black. Sometimes I iron my hair because I prefer having it straight. My eyes are brown and small. My hobbies: I like being with my friends, chat in the internet, reading (depending on the book) and dancing funky.

  4. NATALIA: • Me llamo Natalia, pero me gusta que me llamen Nati. Tengo 12 años, y nací el 12 de agosto de 1999. Mi comida favorita es la comida italiana. My physical appearance: I'm tall. I'm thin . My hair is long , brown and straight, but sometimes it is curly. I have a normal nose, small lips and brown and green eyes. My hobbies are dancing hip-hop and playing the piano.

  5. MARTA: • Me llamo Marta. Tengo 13 años, y nací el 9 de febrero de 1999. Mi comida favorita es la pasta y la carne. My puysical appearance: I´m not very tall and I´m thin. My hair is long, blond and straight. I have a small nose, normal lips and brown and green eyes. I wear glasses. My hobbies are dancing funky, singing, reading and chating and going out with my friends.

  6. CARLOS Me llamo Carlos Santos Mendiola y tengo trece años. Nací el 27 de Febrero de 1999. Mi comida favorita es la pasta y el arroz . My physical appearance : I’m tall and thin . My hair is sort , brown and straight . I have a small nose and normal lips. The colour of my eyes is brown and green. My hobbies are playing football and playing with XBOX 360.

  7. Rutinas De lunes a viernes nos levantamos a las 7:30 AM. Desayunamos, nos vestimos, nos lavamos y vamos al instituto. A las 8:30 empezamos las clases, y terminamos a las 2:20 PM, excepto los lunes y miércoles que salimos a las 3:15 PM. Cuando llegamos a casa, comemos y hacemos los deberes. Luego, cada uno se va a sus actividades extraescolares, por ejemplo, Natalia va a clases de piano; Marta va a natación, Eva va a funky, Carlos a clases de fútbol… Luego volvemos a casa, nos duchamos, nos ponemos los pijamas cenamos, vemos la televisión y vamos a la cama.

Comidas Españolas • Comidas tipicas de España: • Paella Valenciana: Lleva arroz con colorante, marisco, pollo, aceitunas… ¡Esta deliciosa! • Cocido Madrileño: Lleva caldo con fideos, garbanzos, carne, pollo, chorizo, morcilla… • Sardinillas Malagueñas: Son sardinas a la plancha. • Fabada Asturiana: Alubias con chorizo, caldo… • Tortilla de patata: Esta hecha de patatas, huevos y cebolla. • Jamón Serrano Ibérico: Son algunas partes del cerdos, las patas. • Chorizo & Lomo Ibérico: Esta hecho a partir del cerdo. • Gazpacho Andaluz: Hecho de salsa de tomate y otros vegetales. • Torrijas: Hechas de pan, huevo, leche…

Facts of the IES Luis Garcia Berlanga The I.E.S. "Luis Garcia Berlanga" was opened in the course 1993/94. During the first year it was called "Coslada I" and in  the second year, the community decided to call it as the famous film director, Luis Garcia Berlanga. During the course in 95/96, they built a smaller building near the main building, and began the next course to teach all the student of ESO and Bachillerato. The number of students has increased a lot in the last years. From 180 in 1993 to 700 now. The high school stuff is made up of an average of 63 teachers divided into 15 Departments. MainBuilding SecondBuilding Gym This course, 11/12, is the first year that it had been a bilingual high school

Intallations • The high school is divided into three buildings: • The main building: is the biggest one and have the 2 laboratories, the departments, the secretary office, the head masters office … • The gym: is the smallest building and have toilets, and a tatami. • The second building: is the medium building and have 2 floors and have a technology workshop, an informatic room, the plastic room,and 8 eight classes.

  13. Four Towers Business Area • Four Towers Business Area is located in the Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid. The area contains the tallest skyscrapers in Madrid and Spain: Torre Espacio (224.5 m), Torre de Cristal (250 m), Torre Sacyr Vallehermoso (236 m) and Torre Caja Madrid (250 m). The construction of the buildings finished in 2008. It’s also known as Madrid Arena. • Torre Caja Madrid is the tallest building and it has 45 floors. • Torre de Cristal is the second tallest with 52 floors. • Torre Sacyr Vallehermoso 52 floors. • Torre Espacio has 57 floors.

  14. Kio Towers Kio Towers, or The Gate Of Europe, have a height of 114 m and have 26 floors. They were constructed from 1989 to 1996. The Gate of Europe is the second tallest twin towers in Spain after the Torres de Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Museum "Reina Sofia" The Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía  is the official name of Spain's national museum of 20th century art. The museum was officially inaugurated in 1992 and is named for Queen Sofia of Spain. It is located near the Atocha train and metro stations. It’s mainly dedicated to Spanish art. It is very beautiful, and one of its main atractions is that it has two lifts, but they’re transparent, as is shown in the photo.

  15. Torre Picasso Torre Picasso is a skyscraper in Madrid. From 1988 till 2007 it was the tallest building in Madrid. It is 157 meters high and has 43 floors. Torre Picasso is located next to the Pablo Picasso Square. It was designed by Minoru Yamasaki. Torrespaña Torrespaña is a television tower in Madrid. It is 231 meters high. TV channels as RTVE, Telecinco, Telemadrid and Antena 3 are broadcasted from this tower. This tower was built in 1982 because of the FIFA World Cup that took place in Spain that year. I Spain it is also known as the Piruli.

Santiago Bernabeu The Stadium inaugurated on December 14, 1947 in a party between Real Madrid Club of Football and the Club de Football You Belenenses of Portugal, under the name again Stadium Chamartín. The enclosure was possessing a capacity of 75 145 spectators, of which 27 645 were possessing seats (7125 cutlery) and 47 500 of foot (2000 cutlery). The capacity of the current stadium happens to a total of 85.454 spectators

  17. La Peineta La Peineta is a stadium in Madrid. It is being reformed to become the new stadium of the football club Atlético de Madrid. The stadium had a capacity of 20,000 spectators, but after the reform for Atletico's club will expand the stadium to 70,000 spectators. The stadium will replace Vicente Calderón Stadium as the home of Atlético in the summer of 2015. Vicente Calderón Stadium The Vicente Calderón Stadium is the stadium of the football club Atlético de Madrid and is located in Arganzuela, in the centre of Madrid. The stadium was originally called the Manzanares Stadium, because the river Manzanares is near it, but this was later changed to the Vicente Calderón Stadium, because of the famous Atlético club president. The seats are in red and white stripes, the colours of Atletico's shirts.

  18. Torre Europa In the Paseo de la Castellana, in front of Real Madrid Stadium. It has a height of 121 meters and 35 floors. It opened in 1985. It is the 7th highest building in Madrid. Torres Blancas The building, 71 meters high, has a cylinder structure. On its top it has lots of circles. It has a swimming pool on the top and it has 21 floors.

  19. Torre BBVA The Banco de Bilbao Tower also known as BBVA Tower is a 107m skyscraper in Madrid It was designed by the Spanish architect Francisco Javier Sáenz de Oiza. It was built between 1979 and 1981. It has a rectangular shape and its located in the Nuevos Ministerios area. It has 14 elevators.

Mirador Building Mirador Building is a building of postmodern architecture that is in the area of Sanchinarro, to the north of the city of Madrid.  This is a building the has a height of 63.4 meters (21 floors) with houses. The most amazing thing about him is the large central opening which is located 36.8 meters from the ground. There is a garden and some beautiful views of the Sierra de Guadarrama, what gives its name to the building.

  21. Parque Europa Europe Park with more than 230,000 m2 of green area is the largest area and one of the most attractive tourist parks throughout the Community of Madrid. The Park Europe has a representation of some of the most important European monuments. Without leaving the park, you can make contact with European art, architectural and cultural rights of different European capitals represented. The Europa Park is a place that offers tourist interest for all those tourists visiting the region of Madrid.

Palacio de los Deportes 2 It has a variable capacity depending on the configuration is adopted: • Athleticism: 10,000 people (with track 200 m of rope and 6 blocks). • Handball: 14,000. • Basketball: 15,000. • Concerts: 15,500 spectators. On June 28, 2001 the palace was burnt and became ruins. After the fire, the Community of Madrid decided to build a new building in the same place. It was designed by the architects Enrique Hermoso and Paloma Huidobro. Its construction began on February 20, 2002 with a budget of 124 million euros. He took advantage of the former building of the structure, particularly the facade of the Plaza de Salvador Dali and Philip Avenue and the back of the Fuente del Berro Street. It was inaugurated on February 16, 2005 by Mayor Alberto Ruiz-Gallardon and the president of the Community of Madrid Esperanza Aguirre.

  23. Parque Warner Madrid • Parque Warner Madrid is a theme park located 25 km southeast of Madrid, in San Martín de la Vega. The Warner park was opened the 5th of April. This theme park is inspirited in the Warner’s movies and cartoons world. There are lots of roller coasters and attractions. It has a 3D cinema, and differents parts: • DC Superheroes World. It is based in Superheroes. • Warner Bros. Studios • Cartoon Village, a zone mainly for children based in cartoons. • Old West Territory, attraction based in west films. • Hollywood Boulevard, that contains the cinema and shops. • If you go there you will enjoy a lot. • In the next slide you can see the map of the Warner Park

  25. Parque de atracciones Madrid This amusement Park in Madrid, is located in the Casa del Campo. The Parque de Atracciones was inaugurated in 1969 but year by year it has been remodeled and today there are more attractions. It is very known all around Spain and many people of different places come to enjoy it. There are many roller coasters as the “ Abismo”, the “Tarantula”, the ”Tornado”… But something that many people like are the aquatic attraction as the “Aserradero”, the “Fiordos” , the “Rapidos”… It has a Terror house called “El viejo Caserón”, it is very popular in the park and you can find many characters of terror movies.

  26. Faunia • Faunia is newest. It was opened the 10th of July, 2001. you can see performances of animals… It’s divided into 4 zones, simulating different ecosystems: • African forest. • The temperate forest. • The poles. • Jungle. • You can see many different types of animal, some of them are strange but others are so cute! • If you like animals I recommend you to visit it if you ever come to spain.

  27. Aquopolis Madrid It’s a aquatic park in Villanueva de la Cañada. It consists in many swimming pool with machines that makes the water to make waves like in the see or things like that. There are slides that finished in pools and you can slide with a floater. It’s very fun.
