  9. President’s Report Incorporation • OWWA incorporated October 21, 2004 • New by-law accepted by Board March 10, 2005 • April 1 – AWWA recommends acceptance of OWWA By-law • May 8 – OWWA members to ratify

  10. President’s Report Incorporation Name: • Legal name OWWA • Business name will remain OWWA – A Section of AWWA Article II – Business of the Corporation: • Required under the Corporations Act • Clarifies how OWWA will carry out its business

President’s Report Incorporation Article III – Members • Service provider members now have an individual vote under Director Member category Article VII – Meetings of Members • More information to increase transparency of activities of organization • Ability to participate in the affairs of the organization through proxy voting

  12. President’s Report Incorporation Article VIII – Officers • Outlines the duties of Officers • Introduction of new officer – Secretary-Treasurer (formerly 1st Vice Chair) • Chair becomes “President” and Trustees become “Directors”
