  1. COVID-19 IMPACT ON EDUCATION SECTOR

  2. When talking about the impact of COVID-19 on different sectors of the economy, it is highly unlikely to not think about the education sector. Students from colleges, schools, and universities have been sitting at their homes for months without meeting their friends or attending physical classes. Since everything has become virtual, all the educational institutions have deferred or dropped their annual examinations.

  3. This interference in the world's education system has given a big reminder regarding the need for transformation. For years, the digital transformation of the education system was discussed, but with the coming of COVID-19, it has made everyone realize its importance. This article will talk about the COVID-19 impact on education system.

  4. The shift from 'thinking' digital to 'being' digital • No one was ready to become equipped with effective digital learning techniques until COVID-19 came into the picture. All the ways in which we deliver information, ease learning, and share knowledge have changed in the 21st century. The pandemic and its impact on everyone's life has raised the need to adopt innovative ways of acquiring education at all levels. Even though the journey of enabling a full-scale digital transformation at such a short notice is not a cakewalk, but if the educational institutions implement it the right way, then it can be a resilient lesson.

  5. The response of the education sector to the new reality • Since technology plays a critical role during the time of the pandemic, it is inescapable for the educational sector to include digital tools to deliver informative content to students. The COVID-19 epidemic has raised red flags in the education industry, which has further pushed the industry towards digital development.

  6. Online classes have become the key players in providing e-learning to students sitting at their homes in different parts of the world. With the COVID-19 impact on education sector, various institutes have started the intranet system to prepare themselves well.

  7.  Video-broadcasting tools have helped educators in organizing live stream classroom sessions for educating the students. These tools also have various features like live audio, video, recording, chat, Q&A session, etc. on the website or mobile application for ensuring a smooth educational platform. The educators have also provided the students access to the student boards, which help them in having an idea and clearing the queries faced by students.

  8. Paving the way for online assignments and tests • Be it global institutions or the top Engineering colleges in Pune - digital learning has forced all the institutions to carry out online assignments and examinations for the students. Even though the educators need to equip themselves with the technology of creating online assignments and tests, their results will be fair. Since everything will be managed by software, the chances of manual errors will reduce. Various companies are coming up with online platforms that make this task easier and are playing an active role in boosting the field of digital learning.

  9. Studying Engineering in an interconnected world • Engineering is one of those degrees that require the students to witness the practicalities of science physically. But, in the current global scenario, gathering the same knowledge virtually has become a task for students. However, students aspiring to study engineering from the top Engineering colleges can take admission in MITAOE.

  10. MITAOE or MIT Academy of Engineering is amongst the top and the most technologically updated college in India, handling the situation well with uninterrupted virtual learning. Offering a wide variety of courses, the institute has access to an expert faculty and placement cell. If you aim to have a successful career, then MITAOE should be on your list!

  11. Conclusion • Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) is the first private Engineering Institute to be established in the city of Pune, Maharashtra. It is one of the premier institutes for Indian and international students offering Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Engineering, Management, Medicine, Pharmacy, Design, and so on. • MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAOE), Alandi, Pune, was established in 1999 under MAEER by the honorable Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, Founder and Executive President of MIT Group..
