  3. WORLDWIDE MEMBERSHIP TRENDS I started at Rotary in September 2002 On 30 June 2003, there were 1,227,545 Rotarians worldwide On 30 June 2013, there were 1,208,660 Rotarians worldwide

  4. WORLDWIDE MEMBERSHIP TRENDS At it’s meeting in October, the Board… …noted with concern that the 30 June 2013 numbers are the lowest in 12 years …affirmed that membership is Rotary’s highest priority, second only to polio eradication

CONCLUSION • Another way of saying this might be: • Rotary unites leaders…we are a catalyst for improving our communities • We exchange ideas…bringing our expertise and diverse perspectives to bear on community problems • Then…because ideas are only the first part of the solution…Rotarians take action.
