  3. Characteristics • All mosses live in wet areas, since they need shade and water to live • Has radial symmetry • Producer

  4. Life Cycle • Has 13-22 spores • Sexual reproduction

  5. Habitat • Lives in wetter climates (boggy ground, riverbanks, rocks near rivers, mountainous regions), and have to be in the shade. • Since they are plants, they use photosynthesis to get their energy

  6. Characteristics • Can be different shades of bright green; their leaves reminded the Anglo-Saxons of hair • Used to be used to bandage wounds if had nothing else to use • Non-vascular plant: Each plant cell in plant has to get its own nutrients through osmosis and diffusion, as opposed to getting it through tissue.
