Absolute Error

Absolute Error. The difference between the measured value and the true value is referred to as the absolute error. Assume that analysis of an iron ore by some method gave 11.1% while the true value was 12.1%, the absolute error is: 11.1% - 12.1% = -1.0% . Relative Error.
