Aakash Chopra feels Ravi Shastri will continue to be India's head coach

Former India player turned famous commentator and cricket analyst Aakash Chopra has stated that Ravi Shastri will continue as Team India's head coach as he believes Rahul Dravid might not be agreed to take up the role now. Notably, Ravi Shastri's tenure as the head coach of Team India was extended earlier after 2019 World Cup and it will end after the T20 World Cup later this year as well.<br>In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra has said that Rahul Dravid, the only one who could take over the reins from Ravi Shastri, might not be there in the race of becoming head coach also.

  2. He said: "I don't think Rahul Dravid is going to put his name on the list. There can be just one competition if Rahul says he wants to be India's coach. If he wants, then it will be a strong fight. But if Dravid doesn't put his name, whoever puts his name on that list, he will not be able to stand in front of Ravi Shastri, that is what I believe but then we shall find out." On the other hand, earlier Rahul Dravid only has shared that he won't be the coach of India's main team as the job require a lot time being away from the family. However, he has coached the India A team and U-19 teams before and now he is with the Indian team in Sri Lanka as Team India's coach for the ongoing series.
